The CW Superheroes *Suck* At Secret Identities

Dude, all of these people suck at secret IDs. Flash has like a minimum of 5 people at any given time. Joe, Iris, Cisco, Frost, Ralph, lord knows how many Wells. I’m not even counting people like the Atom, the Firestorms, Argus, etc. Batwoman Her sister, her tech guy, her step-sisters, she’s only been around for a few episodes. Arrow I’ve literally lost count. Supergirl Her sister, Lena, Brainiac, Saturn Girl, Martian Manhunter, Jimmy Olsen, her sister’s girlfriend, her co-worker/tech guy…

It’s been pointed out that in the comics, Flamebird’s real name is Mary Elisabeth Kane– Bette being a nickname for Elisabeth-- thus, Mary Hamliton on BATWOMAN is/might be essentially the Arrowverse version of Betty/Bette Kane.

And so…

• Yes, Mary should turn out to be Bette-- adapted comics characters are always the coolest!
• No, Mary is delightful the way she is, and should be her own, original character-- Bette can always show up in season 3 on a tennis scholarship to Gotham U!
