I would use Aquaman’s hook to go and start to turn off the roller coaster. Basically I would just use his hook to do the guys job. Then I would hook the guy to the wall. Because I am secretly batman.
You should win

huh?
How has nobody else done this since more than a day ago?!?!

Okay, line launcher. Lots of superheroes just starting out have a lot less to work with! Since I’m assuming the actual line is made out of some type of extremely durable and resistant metal alloy, and there is probably a certain level of push force that can be controlled through the device as well (allowing Batman to actually control how far he wants to target), I would shoot one end of the line higher up behind the rollercoaster and another to the back of the cart. I would then use the device’s ability to control the force exerted to instead slow the cart down, as the mechanism must work in such a way. The rollercoaster should slowly bring itself to a resting position
The things money can buy you, am I right?
A moderator entry! A nice surprise
I think you’re absolutely right about the way the Line Launcher works and this is some super logical thinking that helps to make a true hero.
Day saved by the latest addition to the team! Welcome

ajm08g pauses singing when noticing a sign for a carnival
Say… that sounds like a swell idea to make a pit stop!
“One hot dog and a bag of cotton candy please.” ajm08g says to the server.
I thought I heard a specific laughter when I got my hot dog.
Kelex, buddy, what can happen this time?

Interesting Kelex… Aquaman’s Hook.
First as I see the crowds from the queue line running away, I will make my way to the ride platform to get a nice clear shot at the last car of the rollercoaster. I’ll place my hot dog and cotton candy in the engineer’s booth. Now, when I’m dragged a little with the rollercoaster I should have it stopped by the time I reach the end of the platform.
Whoosh zooms Aquaman’s hook latching onto the last car of the rollercoaster.
“Woah!” Exclaims ajm08g.
The rollercoaster begins to slow, and then reaches a complete stop in the station.
Everyone okay?
Everyone on the rollercoaster says yes and thank you until…
Joker appears!
Oh no you don’t! Especially after all your joy riding in my Joker Mobile!

Is that so Joker? Well then… How about… This!
Using Aquaman’s Hook ajm08g ties up Joker when out of the corner of his eye he sees a shadow.
Enter Batman
Good work. I’ll take it from here.
Happy to help Batman!
Later as ajm08g takes his hotdog and cotton candy back to the Batmobile…
What another adventure…
It sure was wasn’t it?
Ah! How do you do always do that! Thinks ajm08g
Yup… I guess you will be taking back the Batmobile now?
Without a doubt.
Okay then. How about a trip to the airport?
Fine.
Batman and ajm08g hop into the Batmobile.
Batman starts the Batmobile and the radio plays Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5.
Hmmmm.
Cotton Candy?
Hmmmm.
ajm08g laughs as the Batmobile’s tires screech heading towards the nearest airport

Just a crazy person. Arkham’s nearby
You’re a wonderful person for linking it back to this. 10/10.
It’s the Bat! Everyone scatter!
My heart breaks for your loss of the batmobile. Fun while it lasted though, right?
I don’t think Bruce is a big fan.
No sweet tooth either

Oh boy, my first Wild Card roll! For this one, I’m going to whip out one of the most powerful artifacts I can think of: Johnny Thunder’s pink pen. With a cry of “Cei-U!” I’ll have the 5th dimensional entity Thunderbolt to fulfill my every wish. In this case, I wish for the roller coaster to gradually decelerate, and that the passengers can be returned to the ground safely. Then for good measure, and because wishes usually come in threes, I wish for The Joker to be banished to the Phantom Zone. You’re welcome, Gotham City.
