Downloaded the official DCUI app from Apple this morning.
Now we’ll see what happens as I try to break it.

I have to admit, I’m glad they added at least a few villains although, with the exception of Darkseid, they are all Batman villains. Lex Luthor didn’t even make the list. Talk about favoritism. Can we expect a larger app icon selection in the future?

Batgirl, Zatanna, Dr. Fate and Power Girl immediately come to mind.
Lex, Brainiac, Cheetah, Reverse-Flash & Sinestro are all mainstream villains.

And I gotta ask, how in hades did Batgirl not make the initial list? I gotta imagine that was a bit of a personal disappointment for you?

I must confess I was hard-pressed to find a character I wanted to use. I ended up going with Darkseid because, thanks to @biff_pow, that character now makes me laugh when I see him.

I expect we’ll have lots more icons in the near future! But first, we must savor all this delicious dog food.

If I were to have a dark mode, I would like the writing box be white, cause it’s easier for me to write. That’s one of the reasons I’m sticking with white background theme.

AH already replied, but yes- it’s only on iOS. If you have an iOS device, you can find the ability to toggle your icon under MyDC

The funny thing is that the Rebirth-era issue is said to be available on DCUI on the DC website, but when I click the link, it takes you to the late '00s series #42.

Is there any chance that DC Universe’s news archives will be ported over to dccomics.com? Or that there may be some other way to easily access our news archives? All of the articles are currently still on the site, there’s just no easy way to access them. I’d especially like to see the complete runs of Joshua Lapin-Bertone’s “Where to Start Reading…” feature and HCQ’s “ASK… THE QUESTION!” columns be made easily available somewhere.

Yes! All articles will indeed be ported over to dccomics.com. Additionally, there will continue to be a News row on DCUI, but there was a difficulty having that feature on launch. You can still access the articles through Google Search, and I saw your AMAZING effort compiling all of these articles in one place. (Many, many thanks!)

HCQ’s Ask…The Question will continue to be a running article on dccomics.com I believe it’s dropping to a monthly cadence until everything is up and fully operational. As far as I know, none of the articles will return dead links, it’s just a matter of getting them nestled in their hub.
