Interesting thought.

Part of my logic was the CW has adopted a DC show from another network before (Supergirl), but I suppose once CW’s done with it the full season will go up on HBO Max, since all their full seasons are going there now, and for the reasons you listed, that would be a better home for it.

Plus, on HBO Max they wouldn’t have to deal with network standards and practices, and as we saw with Supergirl, CW would cut the living daylights out of the budget, which HBO Max probably wouldn’t.

Of course, this is all hypothetical anyway, and the hypothetical is predicated on Swamp Thing getting a larger audience somewhere else than it did here. So… Swamp Thing WAL for the CW airings, anyone?

Oh, and that reminds me, I really liked rewatching it here with the Absolute Edition. Any chance that content/format will make the jump to HBO Max when they start streaming DC Universe originals?

Funny you should say that! We are planning some highlight episodes of ST for our Friday night WALs hosted by the illustrious @Pretty.Poison.Bombshell. But you can never have too much ST.

Oooooh- Each of them has something to offer the legacy. But I’m basic, probably The Dark Knight for 1) that amazing opening bank robbery scene and 2) Heath Ledger’s legendary performance.
