I find it interesting that here and in Batman: The Adventures Continue that she is taking on both the Batgirl and Oracle roles. And she didn’t need a certain event to happen to do it.
I have the same observation. One of the reasons that I love her so much is that she’s become two iconic DCU characters. Her inner strength, tenacity, and sticktoitiveness has endeared her in my heart for all time.
Well I think that’s one reason why Babs is so revered. She is a seriously formidable warrior despite the circumstances, and draws from both Oracle and BG later making her a well rounded hero and specialist.
