He was just a massive asshole on set. He treated the crew like garbage, he fought with the director constantly, he kept demanding more money. He was acting like a diva because it was the 90s and he was Val Kilmer.

Kilmer is my favorite! I for one like Keaton, but his voice was not suitable me.

Yeah I think Kilmer’s attitude was one of three reasons he didn’t return for Batman & Robin. If he had, his Batman would of shaped the tone much differently than Clooney did. I mean it still would of been cheesey but at least Batman would of been Batman & not Clooney cosplaying lol Clooney was great as Bruce, but Batman he was not lol But Kilmer had to be a diva, WB had to rush a sequel to the then successful Batman Forever without informing him in time as Kilmer had already signed on to The Saint before WB made the decision, at least from what I recall. But it was cool to learn Kilmer 1st learned he would be Batman, while on location for another film, in an actual Cave lol
