One of the back issues released today was Shazam #9.

The second story in this issue is a Captain Marvel Jr. story drawn by the great Dave Cockrum. The scan of the artwork is really blurry in spots.

I opened Shazam! The World’s Mightiest Mortal Volume One in the app and it contains the same issue except that in this collected edition the artwork has been restored and looks beautiful.

Why would a blurry scan be used when gorgeous versions of the same issue has already been digitized? This keeps happening with back issues.

I am going to dig into the archival releases first, of course and then get in/to the new stuff. I can’t wait!

Looking forward to the Knight Terrors Catwoman. Also HQ Black, white and redder is really good
