Noted! The challenge we face is how to feed it into a streamlined moderator function, and how to make it a more engaged experience. Part of the reason it was depreciated is that it was the least used element of the service, with some rare exceptions. In my tireless quest for quality, I would want to ensure the comments we see are meaningful and quality and serve a greater conversation- we can’t all be DanTheManOne1. This is my way of saying that there’s more thinking to do around the function to ensure my power-hungry vision is fed.

@Applejack - apologies if this info is already posted somewhere, but I haven’t had luck tracking it down. I’ve been a monthly subscriber since day 1 of DCU, but now that I have the cash for an annual subscription, is there a way to make the switch? The new email seemed to suggest that by confirming, I’d automatically continue my enrollment in the monthly service, so I didn’t want to press anything yet.

Update: I went into my account settings and switched to an annual subscription. So now, my question is whether the link from the email will recognize that (I wasn’t sure if two versions were mailed out; one for monthly subscribers and the other for annual).

It is! It was even covered with the DCU Book Club like a month or two ago.

As for the crossovers, I think the more indie publishers like Boom, IDW and Dynamite will be fine. However, with Marvel having the publishing rights to Conan for a few years, and now Aliens/Predator seems like something that could be a problem, but so far hasn’t. So…

It’s a brownie with mint oreos in its center. Crumbled mint oreos, chocolate chips, candy eyes, and sanding sugar on top! They had a really sweet taste. My family seemed to really like them unless they were being really kind… It was the first time I made batter in a frying pan. The next time I make them, I’ll probably use mint oreo thins instead of the regular sized oreos.

As for Swamp Thing emojis, there actually were a few developed that I was a bit unhappy with. Stand by… (you don’t know you’re standing by but I know)

My dissatisfaction with these emojis came from the limited sources I had to create them. We are only given permission to make emojis with certain key art stills, and the results meant that we didn’t get super clear images of the characters like we really wanted, and they certainly don’t express any EMOTIONS, as emojis are meant to do at their core! I would personally love to get some Swamp Thing comic book emojis created as the color contrast is much higher.

Now, if someone in the community were to create them, there’s nothing to stop me from uploading them on their behalf…

I finally have a couple of questions to ask you before Tuesday! Let’s get to them, shall we?

1. My first question is, my Membership on DC Universe ends on December 31st, and DC Universe Infinite start on January 21st. If I pre order early will I still be able to read comics or do I have to wait 3 long weeks to read them?

Let’s! You absolutely will still get to read comics as long as you have some form of DCU/DCUi during that time. Just make sure you opt into DCU Infinite so that you can get a smooth transition But there is no interruption of service.

That first screen that you get to when you click into a comic book series has got to go I beg you. It’s just a convoluted mess IMO and helps no one and keeps them from making the next step to the full series if they don’t see at the very top and they don’t know to scroll up to get there.

What are your thoughts on this format from the desktop version?

I’ve seen that you also prefer something more like the text lines rather than the visual thumbnails- would your above screenshot be better served by that format?

It’s very hard to tell if people are joking through a digital format, but I have to assume this is genuine feedback that you feel no one reads the Suggestion Box. I can assure you that not only are we reading it and passing on the feedback, but we have an over 90% correction rate on comic book errors that are reported in the community. Those that aren’t corrected are due to matters outside our control, but there is an immediate and actionable routine of feedback.

Because I have the perception that we are routing feedback and making improvements where they are actionable and fit into the bandwidth and strategies at hand, it’s important for me to hear more about what feels ineffective/doesn’t work from a member perspective.
