As well as providing the traditional hook of a Superboy working with the Legion! I jumped on to the Legion pretty much at Zero Hour, so I didn’t understand the historical connection at the time, and also wasn’t sure if I liked this version of Superboy or not (I’m still not, honestly, especially with everything that happened leading up to and in Lo3W).
Oh that story. I have a lot to say on that if we get there, but it was probably the most fun read I’d had for the Legion as well as the most wrenching, as Vi is my fave.
