I was using Justice League Dark as a example to somebody and it’s actually coming true! That never happened to me before!:open_mouth:

Nice! I’ve been waiting to watch Batman and Harley Quinn, Hell to Pay, and Judas Contract for MONTHS, and they’re finally coming to the app. It’ll be my first time seeing those three.

Very nice. I have seen Justice League Dark, but have been wanting to see the others, 4 of the very few animated movies to not be on the service before. Looking forward to watching them, especially Batman and Harley Quinn and Teen Titans: Judas Contract. Also hoping even though this isn’t 18 episodes this will quell some peoples concerns that they are just yanking movies off completely for HBO MAX. A nice surprise indeed.

Incidentally I never even heard of the comic book Black Magic. Thought by now I had absorbed the name of every title DC has put out, lol. Interesting.

February looks like an excellent haul! I’m super excited for Deathstroke #40 and The Batman Who Laughs, as I’m ramping up to it with Dark Knights: Metal! And no “last chances” either - Happy Valentine’s Day from the DCU!

Doing better this month. Keep it up. I would like to stick around.

The comic selection is amazing. Again, I’m floored we’re getting First Issue Special. That was an amazing Bronze Age concept; it’s basically like the comic equivalent of a bunch of random TV pilots–whatever is popular is continued. We got Warlord from this, but things you wouldn’t think would get used again end up coming back in big ways. James Robinson mined quite a bit from this series. He used Atlas and Codename: Assassin in his Superman run, and he used the Mikaal Tomas Starman in his Starman run. Hell, the oddest issue of the bunch, Lady Cop, ended up on a couples episodes of Arrow. Can’t wait to read these when they come to the app!

What are the asterisks by some of the comic issues for? Or is that just broken formatting?

Hold the phone, what’s this? Are we getting Looney Tunes comics on DCU now?

This is excellent news. Everybody check this oneshot out. Marv Wolfman’s best Superman work ever.

Black Magic was actually a Prize Publications comic, which was acquired by DC in the 70s! Featuring horror stories by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby!
