PS: another reason i am not superman is because of just how easy it is for him to fall into the abyss when he stairs into it. on the other hand, batman looks into the abyss, and it’s the abyss that looks away. 
Really though superman handles loss is worse then batman does all it takes to make cannon superman fall is the death of Lois. all it takes for batman to fall is… Kill Catwoman, then compound that tragedy with more tragedy and a side of the killing of parents in front of there children, dosing the children with joker toxin, side of Joker’s heart toxin, and a pitcher of water. Or superman going on a killing spree killing off batmans loved ones.
