I had the same feeling. i liked the momentary flashes of memory which would distract Diana, sometimes at great cost.
being of a similar type was mentioned a few times. how they would travel wordlessly, but very in tandem. That scene where the narrator describes them both as people who just don’t do as they are told.
Another moment i liked was they had camped and Diana was saying that all wars are her fight. And when will we rest? i spoke aloud “When we’re dead”, but Conan was more active with “when we die”.
I also liked when Conan asked Diana what she wanted to be called and his response “It will be so”.
