Beast Boy.
(Starfire saying he went missing is a huge indication he isn’t dead. And we don’t need fifteen hundred different animal load outs. Just like. 3 full shape shifts, some combo moves that alter his look, and a few special moves is all. And similar to cheetah and vixen, we can have an animal skin.) -
Lobo.
(He played an important role in Both Blue beetle’s and Hal Jordon’s stories. And now that he’s a honorary Green Lantern, It’s time he gets some spot light.) -
Negative Man.
(We have no idea what has happened to the DP in this universe, he’s different enough then you’re usual distance fighter, and his powers could lead to some interesting attacks and cooldowns.) -
Killer Croc.
(He’s been seen so much in the comics and games that it would just fit. I’d take him over bane.) -
The metal men.
(Maybe DLC. Similar to how the TNT work.) -

I want Deathstroke, Darkseid (my main), and Nightwing to return.
First of all, I would love to see it centered around Apokalips as that’s the best force to top Braniac from Injustice 2, and maybe even lead to a newly reformed Justice League as the Regime seems insignificant by comparison and Darkseid is a big enough threat to bring them all together against a common enemy and have them once again work as a team. Maybe throw in a redemption arc for a grief stricken Superman who was being subtly influenced by Granny and Glorious Gordon for a few years before he finally snapped and kicked off the first game. After being sent to the Phantom Zone, he was freed from Granny and Gordon’s influence and started to realize what he had done, returning to Earth with the help of the Legion of Superheroes to rejoin the League and try to earn back their trust. As far as characters, there are some I would love to see, such as:
