Idk why but using black is always so scary to me because what if the shading doesn’t look right but whenever I see it it’s always done so good that I have to try it!

I know! I’m the same exact way. I absolutely LOVE when artists use pure black as shading, but it’s so tricky to get it right when you’re doing it on your own.

You completely nailed it though!
