Trivia Tuesday: Summer Vacation - ROBIN: YEAR ONE

Welcome to our month-long SUMMER VACATION on Trivia Tuesday, where you pick the topics every week! By player demand, we’re kicking off with a return to the start of the original Boy Wonder’s crime fighting career in ROBIN: YEAR ONE!

THE RULES:

  • Starting at 2:00pm PST on August 1st, trivia questions will be posted by me in the comments below.
  • One new question will be posted from the start time and every 5 minutes afterward, until 24 questions have been asked.
  • The first person to correctly answer each question receives a point.
  • At some point, the game may enter a SPEED FORCE ROUND, where questions begin to appear faster.
  • Whoever has the most points after 24 questions wins the game, and receives an exclusive RIDDLER BADGE to wear on their Community Profile. 8-the-riddler _ BADGE SM
  • Not the winner? You may have better luck next week… schedule permitting, everyone who scores at least one point may be entered in a random drawing to select a future topic.
  • One guess is allowed per player after the question is asked.
  • Do not go back and edit your original guesses.
  • In the event of a tie game… something interesting happens.

Who among you will emerge triumphant in the winner’s circle? To find out, you’ll have to ANSWER… THE QUESTION!

This was one of the comics that made me love the medium, and I still love the book to this day.

I’ve read this a few years ago, I really enjoy it, not sure how good my memory will be!

I am enjoying so far but this lettering is NOT dyslexic friendly

Just finished it. Decent but inconsistent writing and bad art. Nice pun with Shrike’s name, even though he kept making me want to rewatch that terrifying scene from The Animals of Farthing Wood.

i think the art is endearing, but i have no idea what alfred is saying because i cant read it

None of us can. We just look at his notes, shrug, and then we tell him his notes are deep and helpful.

i guess we’re all too scared to criticize his handwriting

I managed to interpret most of Alfred’s writing. Some of it I can’t make anything of, but I managed to get the gist of it.

I just started reading it and I agree. Alfred’s cursive is hard to read. But, I immediately read it in his voice. So it does its job. I just wish it was slightly easier to read.

yeah Alfreds notes were hard to read. it only makes sense that Alfred has the neatest handwriting in the bat family
