Then new 52 he is rebooted as the Savage Hawkman. Basically a thug who kills people. His defining ability is never stop fighting because he feels no pain. Probably likes the taste of blood in his mouth. The best use of this vetsion.of the character is in Justice League of America by Geoff Johns. His teammates were

I’ve always had a hard time with savage hawkman and I dont know why ti be honest
Because he was a one note character.
He beats people up on the slightest idea the person is bad
The current Carter Hall
Knows many languages
Is an archeologist
Thinks before he fights
Looks for help if in trouble
