This movie has a weird quirk where it tries to subvert the expectations of long-time comic fans. It’s an odd choice, since it means that the classic origin doesn’t get adapted, and it really only works for the devotees.

It’s odd that they hung a lampshade over the turning the head thing. That implies that Batman went out in the field with a cowl knowing he can’t properly turn his head. Not very realistic…

Already I feel like this movie does a better job at expressing the themes of the movie than Begins did. Or at least in a more interesting way than saying “fear” all the time.
