I learned how to do animations over a year or so ago and needed to relearn the skill so I did this for practice.
Supergirl 19 is where I got the image from. Beautifully drawn by Stanley Lau.
This was my set up in After Affects. I had to cut off parts of her body and put them into separate layers so that instead of stretching one image many different directions each part could move on its own. Just for the hair I had to cut it up into three section.
Also, I may try drawing cartoon style DC characters in Adobe Illustrator and doing some animation with them but for now my disk space is almost full. 
Time to do some dumping!
