Clark never takes off his red kryptonite ring from “Red”. Clark becomes power hungry and takes over and rules Smallville with an iron fist, but quickly sets his sights much higher. Smallville aggressively pushes it’s boundaries, first overwhelming Kansas, The United States, then the world!
Would be do-gooders like Green Arrow, Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg all join Clark’s regime out of fear. The Global Empire of Smallville is the oppressive new world order where Clark rules all!
…and I guess Lex becomes the hero so yeah it’s kind of a Red Son ripoff.
