I’ve only been to a handful of cons, but sometimes I can’t help but chuckle at the amount of sketchy things I’ve seen going on. My favorites are always seeing people charge insane amounts of money for poorly made bootlegs with videos that are easily accessible online. All of the classics are there, from Roger Corman’s Fantastic Four to the The Star Wars Holiday Special, I’ve even seen a bootleg recording of Hamilton. Usually these things happen at smaller cons, but it always amazes me when I see them. What are your favorite sketchy, funny, or weird con stories?
