On the plus side they seemed to have fixed a server side issue and I can get back on the community. On the downside, I did not get a typical notification that you had replied to my message. (I have gotten reply notifications before and after OH on my KSC thread topic.) So progress, but still some gremlins in the system.

On to my actual item. I suppose it would be an appendix of sorts. It’s certainly a resource for club leaders, but it is also for the community.

USER_X (thought bubble): I just got done reading The Sinestro Corps Wars. This Sinestro dude is really interesting. What have others had to say about him or maybe there are some other minor storylines not in the curated content. Let me go check the club FAQ and/or wiki. (Goes and does some wiki snooping) Hey, watch’s know, The Psychology of Supervillains club did an entire month on Sinestro. The is a link to that thread…how handy. I’ll go and check out that thread. Who knows, I might get some info I’m looking for and maybe I’ll add my thoughts to it as well. (Clicks link and goes exploring the thread)

Ok that was a bit long winded, But that’s kinda the idea. The groups kinda end up creating a much narrower and focused set of “curated content” with each weekly/bi-weekly/monthly thread. Users can find and add to that discussion. For me at least, I feel like the thread for the villain of the month never really close. Sure, there is a new month and a new villain, but I’d like to encourage anybody to feel free to check out the curated content we do and comment with their take on the psychology of a character.

This makes a LOT of sense, thanks to the “thought bubble” mechanism you introduced. Understanding the member journey is a big part of what helps my brain process the requests, so thank you for taking the time to flesh that out!

I’m thinking of the post something like our Club Directory, with a bulleted sub-section under each that lists the conversations. It might be cleaner to do a dropdown menu for each club.

The ongoing maintenance is the part where I get squeamish. Ideally I could make it a Wiki and entrust club leaders to help keep it kept up, but I know housekeeping overall slips through the cracks, even for those of us where it’s our full time job. Doesn’t mean we couldn’t ritualize it into our weekly tasks, it’s just a matter of follow-up and accountability.
