I’m up in a middle of a night, couldn’t sleep, so I took a look at Geoff Johns Q & A, and there’s over 100 post, so I’m guessing the office hour will start late again. This is going to be a fun busy day!

I’m hopeful that DCU management understands this too, and if and when DC does decide to restore these non-superhero comics like the various romance series or the westerns, that they’ll be added here too alongside all the superhero stuff we love. Because to me DC has always been more than just superheroes!

I went ahead and read All-Star Superman #1, which is still listed in the “Act fast!” section on the Rewards site for me. I read the whole issue, and there were no bonus points added to my account.

Did it have the “Top Hat” icon? Those are the only ones that earn bonus tokens. The “Act Fast” section is not a “bonus tokens” section- bonus actions appear sneakily and spontaneously- there’s actually a thread on reddit going where people are sharing how they discovered bonus tokens

Alright just one more question (I know I’ve been flooding the posts this week… My last one, I swear). What does it mean to “level up” in the ranks for the reward site? I checked the “How it Works” section, but I couldn’t find any real explanation on what happens when you do “level up.” Does it unlock a higher tier of rewards, or something?

Ok, done. Getting my money’s worth out of this thread this week.

Erm… I don’t want to betray my mystique about being a person that knows things, but yeah, I’m not seeing what impact being a “Copper” etc. has on your Rewards account. Let’s investigate!

My questions on my mind this week for dear Applejack are:

1. does the time stamp matter on the community calendar (eastern vs Pacific)? I am asking because of the confusion of the late night watch along. On the east coast it is technically Sunday, outside of Eastern, every other time zone is Saturday, so it gets a bit confusing. (Currently I have it set for Pacific time to be safe)

The time zone appears to each individual depending on how they’ve set their preferences in their account- so when I schedule things at PST on the calendar, you theoretically should see them in EST, if your preferences are set to tthat time zone. What was the confusion that happened? Maybe we can make some adjustments.

2. How is it that some members are way over 1500 points on the rewards already? Personally, I feel it is a nice bonus to what I will be doing regardless whether rewarded or not, but curious how some are able to get so many points when I get cut off at 250 every week.

I have answered this question quite a bit in the Rewards Feedback section.

We opened a beta in the forums a few weeks before the Rewards went live. As a “thank you” to the members who helped identify some very annoying bugs, they were allowed to keep the tokens they had earned.
Some are doing a very good job at locating and identifying the bonuses, though that shouldn’t account for the hundreds you are seeing.
And there were some very rare cases in which there was a bug where a small handful of members were getting tokens spitting our of the proverbial slot machine on repeat. These glitches have since been amended- those would be the “way over 1500” folks you speak of, that should no longer be represented on the leaderboards as of this writing. Hope that helps

@Applejack, what are the chances of seeing the 1960s Superboy cartoons from Filmation either on DC Universe or on DVD? And , in a completely unrelated topic, when you want to sit down with some classic comedy, whom do you prefer, Abbott & Costello, Laurel & Hardy, or the Marx Brothers?

I cannot speak to home entertainment’s plans in this regard, but I can definitely pass the request for Superboy along

I am a Marx Brothers lady myself, but they all have their golden moments! What about you?
