Looking to read some stories that aren’t that well known. Like looking for deep album songs instead of singles, mostly interested in Superman centric but I’ll take anything

I enjoyed the animal man run here. It has a horror vibe. Also I hear Star man is really good and anything by Grant Morrison.

Read anything involving Ambush Bug, he is a somewhat hero and admires Superman extremely, but always gets into trouble. Some of his series are Ambush Bug (4 issues), Son of Ambush Bug (6 issues), and Ambush Bug: Year None. Also read the Supergirl comic series from the mid eighties. I’m currently reading that and it’s pretty good.

Also, the Forever People series from the eighties is pretty good. Also Kamandi, and OMAC (both by Jack Kirby)

Justice league International (1987) by Keith Giffen. If you don’t mind humor this book is hilarious!
