I had that The Story of Superman boxed set of children’s books when I was very, very little. That was probably my first exposure to the comic book mythology of the character (very much the Silver/Bronze Age iteration, I think, though it was just the current version at the time). Seeing those pictures really brings back memories. Those books may be in a storage box somewhere in my house. Now I want to find them.

Also, ironically, the wall art in the last picture is hanging on my office wall right in front of me as I type this.

Very nice!

Please do elaborate on:

  • The Superman cards.
  • Those shields. What are they?
  • Love that futuristic looking supercar and what looks like a plaque next to it.

The superman cards sets go from year to year , the superman shields are from the lois and Clark card sets there black cuz u have to shine a light on the back to represent x-ray vision
