It was actually very nice, we just spent a day in Ljubljana, but the folks were friendly, and the downtown was pleasant, lots of shops and cafes . It is a very beautiful Country and that make excellent use of incorporating the river in the downtown. The City had a youthful vibe with a university and the fact they go for free and even get free meals in the restaurants to some extent. Plenty of Greenspaces, had no problem being understood most folks seem to speak English. Everyone on my tour was quite impressed with it and said, it was a Country they wanted to spend some time in. We also visited Lake Bled a nice resort town with a beautiful lake. You should definitely visit if you get the chance.

That’s right I remember u telling me that now. Not location, just ethnicity. I’m Bari, Italy. No clue on Czechoslovakian side? Too war torn to know now…?

Is that question to me or do you not know your Czech side?

The other side of my family is from Novo Mesto. That’s why we always considered ourselves Slovenian even though we only gained our independence from Yugoslavia in 1991.
