Man! If this is based on the Vertigo series it could be killer.
They really should look into hiring someone of Romani descent as Xanadu. Definitely not making assumptions but I do believe that Xanadu does play in some cultural appropriations that Warner Bros should avoid, so hiring someone with Roma heritage just seems like a right bet.
If not than they could do what Tee Franklin was planning to do and make her a African-American woman and connect her with a different folklore.
