Between the appearance of Flashpoint Batman, and a series regular on Pennyworth, Mister Thomas Wayne has had a lot of character development lately. Turns out he is not even remotely the pacifist “stuffed shirt” doctor he seems in all of the paintings.

I think he is in the new Joker movie too. I’m predicting he will be a jerk to Joker before becoming the full Joker.

Thomas Wayne in Joker is played actor Brett Cullen, who played Congressman Byron Gilley (the guy that Selina hitched a ride with at Wayne Manor) in The Dark Knight Rises.
Batman fan or coincidence? Probably a coinkydink.
