Well the JSA’s roots are actually pre American involvement in World War II.

Well, during WW II, in All Star Comics, the JSA fought supervillains rather than Nazis, so that really wouldn’t be a problem.

Nazi super-villians. (I know these are 80s villians but…he counts.)

It’s funny, but I think there were more Nazi villains at DC in the Eighties than at DC during WWII!

Yeah, Fawcett went a lot more heavy on Nazis than DC did. What would become Marvel did too. Their big Golden Age villain is the Red Skull, who is a Nazi!

Yes! Now that’s one the JSA could realistically face if a series set during WWII ever comes to be.

Started the Black Label reprints. played the LA Confidential score. Perfect pairing. I loved the issue cover art.

Second issue of Venditti’s mini was really strong - he and Rossmo continue to really create a great atmosphere and tension.

I did recognize the art too. I’m on issue 2. I have 3 & 4 but haven’t read yet.

I don’t have much to add at this time. I’ll come back after I’m done with 4.
