If the DC Trinity Didn’t Have Genders In Their Name, What Would You Name Them?

What I meant by having genders in their name, for example like Bat(man), Super(man), and Wonder(woman).

Batman could easily just be “The Bat,” but the other two are harder. I think it would take some adjustment, but Superman could be “Superhuman.” It’s what he is, in both ability and in his personality. Wonder Woman is the hardest of all, because her womanhood is so essential to who she is as a character. But I suppose we could achieve the same effect simply by calling her “Amazon.” (You know, if not for the giant corporation that also has that name.)

I’ll take a cue from the Road Runner/Wyle E Coyote cartoons:

Superius Wonderus Baticus

Sorry couldn’t help it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

For superman, he could go by Kryptonian or simply Krypton
Batman already has Dark Knight and its already better than anything I could come up with
As for Wonder Woman, Amazon is definitely fitting

This is a really fun thread @KLOWNPRINCE! Everyone’s suggestions are so creative. I love the explanations/rationalization. We’re such a thoughtful group!

Here’s my addition to the pile. :face_with_monocle:

Batman: Bats

Superman: Krypto (like his dog - it more accurately describes him)

Wonder Woman: Maiden (or The Maiden - like Old Greek/Roman)

Great idea for topic! I think Batman’s covered with “The Bat” or just “Dark Knight.” Superman and Wonder Woman are harder as everyone else said. I guess you could go with “The Blur” for Supes like on Smallville.

Or you could just go with “Bats” (Like the Flash does)

For anyone House El, or just anyone from Krypton, you could go with, "Supes" or "Supie" or "Kryptonian". "Big Blue" is another one.
Members of the Wonder family, could go by "Themysciran" or "Paradise-Islander".

Just ‘Diana’ would be pretty good in my opinion as well!

I thought in order to keep Diana’s Double W you could call her Wonder Warrior!
