If you’re into Batman I’ll recommend Knightfall, Knightquest, and KnightsEnd. Also No Mans Land. Pretty much everything DC has in print is available on Amazon.

Agree. Knight**** is a great place for Batman fans to start. I’m almost done with Knightquest myself and am using the list in the link bellow for the reading order. It adds some cool additional stories that you might miss if you only used DC Universes order.
For GL, I would say grab the Green Lantern by Geoff Johns Book One trade.

The Silver Age Flash Omnibus Vol 1-3.
I’m also throw in Camelot 3000. It’s Arthurian SciFi and it’s superhero stories almost along the same lines as Kirby’s 4th World or Thor, but using a different mythology.

Snyder’s run on Batman from the New 52 is a must-read in my opinion, along with Long Halloween. I’d also highly recommend Tynion’s run on Detective Comics, and I couldn’t tear myself away from White Knight or Curse of the White Knight. If you’re looking for Flash stuff, Flashpoint is always a classic, and Williamson’s Rebirth run is great. Forever Evil is another favorite of mine, if you’re looking for a good villain story. Lastly, in my opinion Grayson is an extremely underrated Dick Grayson story.
