ANTAGON
FIRST APPEARANCE: ANIMAL MAN #46 (1992)
The Antagon is a elemental force that is a direct opposite of the red, a elemental force that connects all animal and human life.
Antagon embodies the red’s darkness, seeking to destroy all living beings in the cosmos. They battled against ancient Animal Masters million years ago and when it emerged in the 20th century it possess the body of Michael Maxwell (B’wana Beast) and later Metaman. The modern Animal Masters (Animal Man, Vixen, and Tristess) were able to defeat Antagon by joining forces to create a new universe for it to live in.
