[DC Comic Book Art Connoisseurs Club] Wild and Wacky Art from the 1950s and 1960s in DCU Library March 2020

Fellow DC Comic Book Art Connoisseurs club members, the fourth Thursday of the month has arrived, and thus it is again the appointed agreed-upon time for our distinguished club to unveil the new topic du jour, du bi weekly:

Wild and Wacky Art from the 1950s and 1960s in the DC Universe Digital Comics Library!

Yes, yes, you’ve seen SOMETHING like this from me before perhaps, but now, now we have so much more of a selection to peruse, sample and celebrate! PLUS this time around it’s not just “wild and wacky covers of the 50’s and 60’s, nope it’s EVERYTHING ART in those DC digitized comics.

Covers absolutely are acceptable, and thanks to the Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen recent explosion of digitization, we have so much more to share!

The easiest way to while away your leisure hours over the next two weeks in pursuit of great art to post is to go into the entire library and Sort by Publication Date, earliest first.

Be advised, there is only a partial slim pickens sampling of the mountains of material that DC published from 1950 to the end of 1969, but that’s part of the fun here!

Be sure to go to “see full series” when you do dive into these early gem series.

Action Comics #252 is the start in the library for that series: Action Comics Link
