I don’t read a lot of commentary…has anyone made the comparison between the Batman and Krona?

At the start of Metal #2, Carter Hall’s journal refers to the story of Krona and the device he used to peer at the universes and their secrets. Though it doesn’t say it word for word, it is directly implying that Batman is exactly like Krona in this aspect.
