CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS

A crossover feat of detailed juggling. Marv Wolfman lobbed dramatic happenings at a furious pace and George Perez paneled feverishly. So many Earths, so little time. A cave painting mosaic of our beloved heroes trying to keep it all together. I still love it.

Don’t forget Jerry Ordway and Dic Giordano. They contributed a lot too. Anyway COIE is a timeless masterpiece as far as I’m concerned. Nothing like that had really been attempted before, at least not on that scale (don’t even say Secret Wars). It’s Impact spanned three decades and gave the DCU degrees of depth that finally rivaled that of Marvel.

One of my all time faves! George Perez simply killed it in every issue and marv wolfman and George Perez are a duo you don’t mess with

@IamSprectre94 Arguably the greatest writer-artist duo in comics history.

@IamSpectre94 A mind boggling project for any team to undertake. The parallels, the details…and it was recognized for what it was–a true event for us on the spinning racks and newsstands.

I know we’re getting the COIE Arrowverse crossover next season. But I’d much rather see an animated trilogy of the story.

@DCComicsCrisis I’m with ya on that one. In this day and age of crossover events, let’s bring into motion the one that spurred the many which followed.

Oh by the way I recently picked up COIE #1 & #12 both signed by George Perez. Unfortunately the autographs arent certified. But I did buy them from a trusted LCS, so I just need to get them verified by a handwriting specialist someday. After that I’m sending them off to get graded. Both are in FN-VFN condition.
