Chlorophyll Kid deserves a little more respect?

As we look at how much respect and insight is being given to Avatars of the Green (Swamp Thing, Poison Ivy, Jason Woodrue etc.) in this current century of DC, shouldn’t we re-evaluate the level of power and respect that is shown to Chlorophyll Kid (30th Century Legion of Substitute Heroes)? I know he is not a chosen champion of the green, but his powers are the same as these major powerhouses that were his predecessors, and we need to shed the image of the insecure guy who can just make plants grow faster. What do you think???

I just wish we cld get someone with a little background in plant phys to write one of these characters.

Great point, @EmeraldKnight . We’ve featured Chlorophyll Kid and the Legion of Substitute Heroes on and off the past almost 2 years of [Legion Fan Club] curated selections, but maybe it’s time to do a special month of stories they (and Chlorophyll Kid) appear in beyond what we’ve already covered!
