Best Episode Tournament: Batman (1966) TV Series

Greeting citizens of DC Universe, it’s time for a new round of The Best Episode tournament, this month, we’ll be voting for which Batman 1966 series has the best episode!
There’s 120 episodes, mostly in the first 2 season are 2 part episodes, there are 3, 3 part episodes in season 2 & 3, and the 3rd season has some single episodes with the interduction of Batgirl.
This is going to be fun, but worth it.
So here we go!

So right - they spent a lot on Purr-fect Crime, maybe cuz those were the episodes that became a Viewmaster set. And the False Face episodes seem like were the most often referenced for the reunion TV movie “Back to the Batcave”, so both of these belong in the top 10 sets of episodes

The Green Hornet crossover is what got me into DC specifically. I loved that episode and started keeping a special eye out for the “DC characters” like Batman and Green Hornet. (Joke was on me I guess). This episode was amazing.

What’s really amusing is that the only episodes on here to get ZERO votes - Devil’s Fingers - was the highest rated episode of the series (since there were a lot of mature ladies who tuned in that one time, and only because Liberace was the guest star)

It’s kind of odd that “The Devil’s Fingers”/“Dead Ringers” has received no votes. I always liked that episode and I think Liberace was great. I think it’s because it is up against one of the most famous episodes, “Hizzonner The Penguin”/“Dizzonor The Penguin,” which even provided inspiration for Batman Returns and Gotham.
