Here’s what you do to guarantee a copy by the time your library receives the book:
Waltz into your library with a 3x5 card, a Sharpie marker and some duct tape.
Mosey over to the graphic novels section.
When nobody is around, write “I doth declare that I have initial dibs on World’s Finest volume 1, due on March 7th. This placard is a legally binding document granting me said dibs to said book. Thank you and, in the worlds of Paul Harvey, good day.”
Tape that sucker to the shelf with as much duct tape as you have, then smoothly waltz out of the library, knowing the book will be yours, come March.
Easy-peasy!
SN: Don’t actually do that. I’m obviously just being silly.
Hurray! I was hoping you were still a passenger on the World’s Finest train.
tugs on his “We need to talk about David.” t-shirt
Mmhmm! #9 was another fine notch in the tree trunk of this series.
I hope your shop ships it to you soon, as it was a solid ish.
Please chime in with your thoughts on it when it arrives.
Superman/Batman…oh yeah, that’s the GOOD STUFF and then some.
Enjoy the omnibus!
IKR?
I’m going to be waiting outside my comic store on the 20th, so as to make sure I snag that variant.
To add to what the good captain said, I want an entire World’s Finest ongoing with Reeve and Keaton in 2023, with the first issue debuting by, at the latest, July 1st.
Alternately, my library allows three suggestions a month. I could suggest it as a purchase and if it’s accepted, then I’m automatically first in line on the holds list.
