If you are looking for some good Batman comics, then you have to read the Venom series. Bruce has to overcome his addiction to a drug that makes you a Superman. Make sure to go and read. Legends Of The Dark Knight-Venom

To be perfectly honest, I would say that the Legends of the Dark Knight series as a whole is seriously underrated. Venom is definitely one of the best arcs to come out of it, but other arcs that are really good are Hothouse, Heat, Masks, Prey, Going Sane, Blades, and more. If there’s a Batman reader out there who’s dying to get more of that “Year One” aesthetic, LOTDK is the place to go.

Venom is great, that whole series is great. Heat, sanctum and sunset are some of my favorites as well.

I would echo the suggestions of reading Legends of The Dark Knight. Faces is my personal favorite. Issue #s 28-30, I believe.
