Alas, I have seen the flick. I saw it on Wednesday afternoon, thanks to a projectionist pal of mine whom I used to work with during my movie theater days. He was getting the digital print ready to pre-screen and invited me along for the ride.
It would have been darn-near Trench-like behavior to say no, so I of course said “You bet your sweet Atlantean bippy I’ll be there!”.
I enjoyed LK a ton and felt the half-decade wait was worth it. I’m betting I’ll like it even more the second time on Saturday, especially since that go-around will be presented in laser projection and Dolby Atmos audio.
