I have so many but Superman: Exile is my favorite DC and Superman story. The Long Halloween trilogy, Knightfall, HUSH and Death and the Madiens are my fav Batman stories. Waid and Johns Flash runs. Johns Teen Titans and JSA runs. Honorable mention would be Waids JLA Year One.

Oh and Kingdom Come is most definitely one of my most beloved.

There are tons more that are slipping my mind.

I just flat out love DC!

Wonder Woman (so many great runs Rucka, Byrne, Jimenez, Perez, etc)
52 (the weekly series was amazing and gave us Batwoman, Isis and so much more)
Identify Crisis (and the JLA follow-up)
Justice League (huge fan of silver age run up to issue 200 but so many great recent runs especially Meltzer)
Brave and Bold (crazy ride with art supplied by many but especially Neal Adams and Aparo)

A fun easy to read on a summer name. No introspection, no worries, no analysis:

JLA Hitch
Powergirl, conner
Booster Gold

Detective Comics #385 Die Small, Die Big.

Herbert Small reminds me a lot of myself when I was younger. He finds a way to face that which brings suffering forthrightly and it’s who I want to be when the chips are down.
