Why have ads, letter columns, and editorials been removed from the scanned comics?
And please, no guesses. I’ve got plenty of theories, but I’d like to actually know. Thanks!
Old digital comics are scanned from collections that don’t have those pages. Case in point: I was re-reading New Teen Titans #3 here on DCU earlier and noticed that at the very bottom of each screen grab, the page numbering from the old DC Archives New Teen Titans Volume One was visible - left there from the original printing.
New comics don’t scan those pages in the first place.
