ABC Reading Challenge

Still working myself through this. I just finished my I with 2011’s I, Vampire. That was an interesting read! Vampires, cameos from other DC characters, and even darkness. I found myself enjoying it even though it was a very bleak series. It was still enjoyable to read! Now I move onto my J. Wonder what I will read from this one?

Just update my list. The two Rann-Thanagar mini-series’ were really fun; who doesn’t like space-men fighting aliens fighting dinosaurs, with an eclectic cast DC characters. And Poison Ivy was really fun, too; definitely a pre-cursor to the Harley Quinn TAS version of Ivy and there was proto-Frank the Plant(s)!

I’m a little late to the party but I’m sure I can catch up.

You’re off to a good start.
Love your choices (except Identity Crisis had a hard time with that one)
What do you think of Young Justice. Love Jinny Hex and Teen Lantern (waiting for her to get caught, I’m hoping she eventually comes clean and becomes a full member of the Green Lantern Corps)

Just a heads up for everyone who inevitably gets to XOMBI, DCU’s only X series: if you’re a little lost about what’s going on, it’s because this 2011 book is actually a sequel to a 1994 comic by the same name – one which was published under Milestone, and therefore unavailable at this time.

I really like Young Justice so far. I have a little catching up to do but it’s a ton of fun.

I’ve been having that problem with, Flash and Teen Titans. And I’ve been spending a lot of time watch BTAS, and Brave and Bold, and Lois and Clark. There’s just so many good things out there.

And Thanks @HubCityQuestion

You are now answering questions before we even think to ask. I was just about to get to Xombi. Might have to try comixology for the prequel.

Read the first two issues of a Justice Society mini but couldn’t get into it. Went to Jonah Hex instead and couldn’t stop. Read the first four issues. Even with all the violence in it, I enjoyed it. Onto K for me next!

Just updated my list.
Still plodding along with Comics Cavalcade and Who’s Who.
Still enjoying Elsewords.
Underworld Unleashed was an interesting event.
Xombi was an interesting character and a surprising good story. First time I met the character.

Edit -

Just finished another issue of Comic Cavalcade, Wonder Woman is my current favorite in the anthology.
A third of the way through Elseworlds.
Nightwing: The New Order and Old Lady Harley (2018) were both good mini-series’.
So was Villains United, this also had a tie-in to Infinite Crisis.
Finish #7 of Who’s Who.
Starting The Question (2005) and Young Justice (1998)

Last Update

Finished the ABC Reading Challenge.
Great way to start the new year, by reading more comics, especially with the unexpected quarantine.

Continuing with Comic Cavalcade, Who’s Who, Elseworlds, and Young Justice (my current fave).
Going to start reading through the years starting with Action Comics #1.
If I keep reading a 1,000 plus comics a year, I should be finished with the DC Library in a little over twenty years.
:grinning:
