It’s easy to miss Dollar Comics, isn’t it?
Their wrap around cover art was sooo cool.
Yes, and I also miss the anthology format. Those short little stories were fun. I hope they get digitized or are collected. I would love to see a Green Arrow collection of his backup stories or the continuing story of Aquaman after he lost his own comic.
Look at this beautiful Mike Nasser (Netzer) art from back up stories in The World Finest. I want this stuff collected.
I want all of this stuff on here and comixology and wherever else.
I’m not objecting to the all the Wildstorm every week, but like Milestone-- it’s a seperate project.
Nobody else tosses black and white (but actually color) books, horrible scans, and a total lack of new archive content at us this way.
Nope. Only here is the backlog truly neglected on this level.
One of my all time favorite covers turns 50!
Neal Adams 1972
It is beautiful indeed.
Itty’s not so itty anymore.
I think this is because Jack C. Harris became editor.
But why a black and white plate?
I just found the B&W plate online and thought it looked good.
