The 1989 run of Hawk & Dove is suprisingly good. It has 24 of the 30 issues originally in that run. While not a complete series, it does stop at the end of and arc, so it is a reasonable stopping period.
If you’re searching the library for something a bit more substantial in size and relatively complete, give this run a try. A bit older material, but a lot of fun and a worthy read. Check it out. I thoroughly enjoyed the run and it did a very decent job of getting me up to speed with the more modern runs.
