Synopsis from dcuniverseinfinite.com: Following a night of sex, drugs and witchcraft in the woods, Eve Coffin wakes up naked, covered in blood and unable to remember how she got there. One friend is missing, one is in a mental ward–and one knows that Eve is responsible. Years later, Eve returns to Coffin Hill, only to discover the darkness that she unleashed ten years ago in the woods was never contained. It continues to seep through the town, cursing the soul of this sleepy Massachusetts hollow, spilling secrets and enacting its revenge. - Following the events of issue 7, how does second arc (which focuses on Eve’s past) change the framing device depicted in the present?
- In the pursuit of a serial killer, Eve uses her powers to investigate the Ice Fisher Killer. What are the interesting ways in which Eve combines her skills as a police officer and her powers as a witch? Explain why you find them interesting.
- Similar to the first question, what are the ways the second part (Issue 8-14) of Coffin Hill contrast from the first arc (Issue 1-7)?
- What were your thoughts on the Ice Fisher Killer? Do you think the reveal of the killer was interesting or not? Explain.
- As a fusion between police procedure, mystery thriller and supernatural genres, what do you think could have influenced this part of the series? Use a example.
