I’m the same way. I’m eyeing a copy of Superboy from the 70’s because it’s a LoSH key, and has childhood significance for me. Few hundred bucks. There are only a handful of books remaining with major nostalgia for me, and none exceed $1,000… even high grade CGC.
@moro I imagine raw vs graded will make a massive difference. I’m guessing @ 9.8, if such a high grade exists, it would be in the $75,000-$100,000 range. The highest grade I’ve found is a 9.2 that sold for $36,000… fourteen years ago.
Yeah the listings I saw were in the 4-6 range. Wow that is a big difference. Yeah for the amounts of money you’re talking about there, I would sell and help put my kids through college or something .
