Initial thoughts:
That is the weirdest Hades I have ever seen.
“I thought I told you to stay close”
I am kind of meh on both Poseidon and Ares. More Poseidon because the choice for Ares seems weird, but I can run with it.
I have a working theory on the missing Zeus, but i am keeping it close to the proverbial vest.

We have yet to meet the last A’s of the pantheon: Athena, Artemis, Aphrodite. Am i missing anyone?

Technically, Athena is already in it… *Spoilers.
I agree, Hades looking like a kid is creepy, but it only gets creepier.

Hades: it was more the lit candle wax crown that was throwing me.

Athena: really? I should probably go back and look…

Athena is there…but not really introduced as herself. It’s weird.

Understood. Was she some sort of owl? Is it weirder than Hades?

She is a person already introduced. So while Hades is weird design, Athena is more like, holy @#$& that’s Athena?
It’s epic weird.

I am looking forward to it.

  1. What did you think about the outcome of Hera’s wrath?

In a meme:

It’s a great, tragic moment. Just when Diana goes through her grief and decides to make amends, she loses the closest thing she had to a family. I think it also helps focus Diana with her relationship with the gods and, most importantly, her relationship with Zola.

  1. How did you feel about the art by Tony Akins?

He’s no Cliff Chaing, but he does a decent job. In store ways, I think he pulls out some of the comedic moments a little better.

  1. What were some of the most memorable scenes in these issues?

Outside of what happens with the Amazons, I thought the con that Diana pulls with Hades and Poseidon to knock Hera down was really well done, but I also liked that it wasn’t without consequences.

I stayed with the British Army in Germany for 3 weeks. Never got used to seeing tomatoes and beans at breakfast.
