It’s probably because they’re just White Martian stand-ins.
Could be interesting if they were introduced in the comics as their own thing and given a bigger backstory.

That movie came way after and it’s not “technically” in this universe. Just uses the same art style and voice actors.

Yeah, any continuity is fine by me. Wondy is long overdue an animated series and a video game. Her villains were feature heavily in Harley Quinn and were well received. It’s time.
