[World of Bats] Detective Comics #963-968 "A Lonely Place of Living"

Hello Gothamites and welcome to the World of Bats, the Batman Book Club!

First off, Merry Christmas to everyone celebrating, and Happy Saturday to all.

Second, this week we’ll be a pivital run in the James Tynion IV’s run of Detective Comics with issues #963-968, “A Lonely Place of Living,” with art by Carmen Carnero, Eddie Barrows, and Alvaro Martinez.

It’s the story you’ve demanded: Where in the world (or otherwise) is Tim Drake? Red Robin faces a crossroads…escape the most devious prison ever devised, or find himself abandoned beyond time and space for all eternity! Not much of a choice, right? But when he finds out just who is locked in there with him, Tim’s world will change in ways he never imagined! This is one of the biggest stories of the REBIRTH era, setting the stage for an explosive DETECTIVE COMICS epic!

This was a good storyline that gets at the heart of why Tim chooses to do what he does. The artist also got to draw some really fun action scenes and team panels. I definitely enjoyed reading this one.
