Is this referring to his short appearance in the Hush adaptation? If so, then I totally agree. But the Bane in BTAS was pretty good, in my opinion. Actually, I would dare say that the whole episode “Bane” was a decent reinterpretation of the whole first half of the Knightfall story.
And I would respectfully but strongly disagree. I think they turned him into a joke. That’s one of my least-favorite episodes of the original BTAS.

I never did understand why they used Bane in Hush instead of Killer Croc.
I believe it’s because of Croc’s appearance in Son of Batman.

Oh yeah, I forgot he was in that movie – and I watched it not even a week ago, I don’t know if that says more about the movie or my memory. I guess they felt they kind of already used that plot that Croc had in Hush so they had to use someone else.

Yeah as I recall, the whole opening with Croc in Son of Batman is nearly identical to the start of the Hush comic, in that Batman remarks that Croc is becoming more of a monster and that he needs the money/drugs to treat himself.
